According to Express News, the Interior Ministry has released details of the general holidays for the year 2020, the calendar released by the Ministry of Interior lists details of holidays, including festivals.
According to the calendar, there will be 14 holidays in 2020 in the year 2020.
- The first holiday will for Kashmir on February 5.
- Pakistan Day on Monday, 23rd March.
- The third holiday on Friday, May 1st for Labor Day.
- Holidays will be on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, May 24, 25, 26, for Eid ul Fitter.
- Eid-ul-Adha holidays will start from Friday, 31 July.
- August 14 is Independence Day of Pakistan.
- Ashura Muharram holidays will be on 29th and 30th of September, Tuesday and Wednesday.
- Eid Mailad-e-Nabi will be celebrated on Thursday, October 29th. All government, semi-government and private institutions will be closed during the holidays.
