Unmistakably, the RedmiBook looks like a MacBook Pro, with its silver chassis, colour contrasting keyboard and display bezel, along with its Helvetica-esque “RedmiBook” branding centred on the bottom bezel.
Xiaomi has even ripped-off the mac OS sierra pink wallpaper in a nod to Apple. The RedmiBook 13 will start shipping in China on December 12. While it remains to be seen whether Xiaomi will release the ultrabook internationally, it will likely appear on third-party retailers like AliExpress and Gearbest among others.
