On Thursday evening a clash between two student groups at Islamic International University Islamabad (iiui) results in one student dead and 10 injured.
The fight exploded between Islami Jamiat Tulba and the Saraiki Student Federation during a function at the university premises. Both the groups exchanged firing during the clash. In the fight, one dead and 10 were injured due to the firing.
Died student attendified as Tafailur Rehman and injures students are Murtaza Ahmed,Ali Naqvi Ammar,Zia Shafiq,Osama Amir,Jamal,Noman Zaman,Faisal Iqbal,Abdul Rehman,Mairaj Malik.
Heavy contingents of police, after being informed, rushed to the university and controlled the situation. Police officials said that they were searching the hostels to recover weapons and arrest the criminals.
The injured students were shifted to PIMS Hospital Islamabad.
Police arrest 70 students, the arrested students have been shifted to an unknown location.
