Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on National Health Services Dr Zafar Mirza says ten million health cards would be distributed among deserving citizens by next year.
Addressing a seminar on prevention of diabetes related blindness in Islamabad, he said over five million Sehat Insaf cards have already been distributed among the poor and destitute people.
The Special Assistant said the government is also ensuring inclusion of Persons with Disabilities in Sehat Sahulat Programme.
More than 5 million Sehat Insaf Cards had just been dispersed among poor people and disputed people, he said while tending to a class on remedial action of diabetes related visual damage here.
He said the administration was likewise guaranteeing the consideration of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in Sehat Sahulat Program.
