Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that provincial government in collaboration with World Bank is going to launch a comprehensive project to cope with the challenge of Climate Change.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony of Clean and Green Punjab Campaign in Lahore today, he said that Pakistan, especially Punjab has been affected most by climate change.
Earlier, addressing the ceremony, Adviser to the Prime Minister for Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam said that ten billion trees will be planted across the country in next five years.
He said that an awareness campaign is being run in the schools to raise awareness about personal hygiene.
