Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid has announced to extend special train service for Christian community till first of the next month.
Addressing a news conference in Rawalpindi on Wednesday, he said the government believes in serving the people of Pakistan irrespective the faith or religion they follow.
The Minister said second Women University was established in Rawalpindi and ML-1 project will also be completed under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
He said with the completion of ML-1 project travel time between Rawalpindi to Karachi will be reduced to just eight hours. He said 138 trains are plying on 1,800 kilometers long track in Pakistan.
Referring to PPP’s plan to hold a public rally in Rawalpindi, he said the people of this city believe in politics of nobility and righteousness and we welcome the opposition in our city. He also announced to hold a rally in Larkana.
Regarding opposition’s criticism, Sheikh Rashid said Imran Khan fully believes in accountability without which democracy remains incomplete. He said corrupt elements are making hue and cry over the accountability process.
