The administration has expanded the quarterly money award for 4.3million recipients of Ehsaas Kifalat Program of BISP from 5,000 rupees to 5,500 rupees.
This was reported by Special Assistant on Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection Dr. Sania Nishtar.
In an announcement, she said this expansion would imply that the administration will give 8.6 billion rupees more to money moves to the least fortunate of poor people.
She said BISP has now 4.27 million dynamic recipients in the wake of delisting 0.82 million undeserving recipients. She said that the expanded stipend will be offered distinctly to the meriting recipients.
