The exhibition of Indian film Gul Makai based on the life of Nobel prized Malala Yousafzai has been announced.
Indian director Amjad Khan has announced that a film based on Malala Yousafzai’s life and his struggle will be presented on January 31, 2020 for the exhibition. The film’s production began in 2017 and the first trailer was released last year.
In this movie, Malala’s character is played by Indian television actress Ramesh Sheikh while Malala’s mother will play the role of actress Divya Dutta and her father Athal Kulkarni. Other cast of the film include Mukesh Rashi, Abhimanyu Singh and Ijaz Khan. The film was filmed in occupied Kashmir.
The highlight of this film is to acknowledge the sacrifices of the Pakistani army and the people against extremism. The film shows how the Pakistani society has been steadfast as a rock against terrorism and won the war against terrorism.
