Samsung to Showcase Keyboard That Type With Phone’s Selfie Camera

Samsung is expected to announce five new C-Lab Innside ventures and four C-Lab Outside startups at CES 2020. One such project enables users to type a virtual keyboard on their computers.

SelfieType’s C-Lab Within applications are included in Samsung’s programs. The system uses the front-facing camera of a smartphone and the AI motor to track finger movements of the user. Then the keyboard inputs are converted to QWERTY.

Samsung says that SelfieType does not need extra hardware and can be worked on a wide variety of smartphones, tablets and even laptops.

Samsung says that a new project named ‘ Becon ‘ will also be unveiled that can examine scalp on users ‘ bodies. The idea is that hair loss among users should be reduced. A companion app is given to diagnose a variety of scalp conditions which can contribute to hair loss.
