She made her presence through TV and film in just three years. She is the Daughter of renowned TV artist Asma Abbas and niece of Bushra Ansari. Her showbiz career began when she divorced her first husband. Her second marriage got a lot of attention as she married Asad Siddiqui, a fellow celebrity who is the nephew of the famous actor Adnan Siddiqui.
She rose to fame for her role as Arsala in 2017 drama serial ‘Khamoshi’. She then went on to star in plays like ‘Qaid’, ‘Lamhey’ and ‘Deewar-e-Shab’ .
In the drama serial Ehd e Wafa, which tells the story of 4 college buddies, she also plays one of the leading roles.
Zara has starred in 2 films : ‘Chhalawa’ starring Mehwish Hayat and ‘Parey Hut Love’ alongside Shaheryar Munawar and Maya Ali in 2019.
She studied filmmaking in Beacon House National University Lahore despite all the resistance from her father and elder brothers as she always wanted to become an actor.
