The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) announced on Saturday that Pakistanis from outside the Pakistani Republic sent $11.4 billion during the first half (July-December) 2019/2020, up 3.31% on the same duration of fiscal last fiscal year.
Country wise statistics from December 2019 shows that inflows from Saudi Arabia, the U Arab States, UK, GCC countries (including Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and Oman) and the EU were 472,94 million dollars, 427,56 million dollars, 357,45 million dollars, 324,57 million dollars, 205,73 million dollars and 56,42 million dollars respectively, compared to $414,59 million, $351,19 million, $276,29 million dollars, and 26,42 million dollars respectively.
