Civilian Aviation Authority (CAA), based on the instructions given by Prime Minister Imran Khan, has built 19 new childcare rooms at the Islamabad International Airport.
Such rooms are designed to help children who accompany flyers to the Airport, based on the specifics of the arrival and departure lounges.
The rooms are well-equipped to meet children’s and their mothers ‘ needs.
A four-year-old was killed earlier, on Jan 14, when he dropped from the visitor area at the Third Level of Islamabad International Airport.
The child was initially taken to the airport trauma center, and then to the Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) in Pakistan. The child was named Anaya, the resident of Fatehjang.
Her mother was carrying the child when she came down to the first floor and was seriously injured from the third level of the airport.
