Federal Board (FBR) granted for the 2019 income tax return to February 28, 2020, its sixth consecutive extension.For extension to the date of filing of tax returns / statements for fiscal year 2019, FBR released the Revenue Tax Circular No. 18 of 2019.
The FBR reported that for 2019, which was due for 30 September and extended for 31 December 2019 until 28 February 2020, the date of filing of return for complete income / final tax returns was extended to 28 February 2019.
The FBR added that the reporting date, due on 30 September 2019 and extended to 31 December 2019, of total income / declarations of final taxes for companies that paid 90% of admitted tax liability on or before 30 September 2019 was permitted to continue until 28 February 2020.
The return date for the 2019 tax year, which was due on December 31, 2019, was further extended to February 28, 2020, of total revenues / final taxation declarations for companies.
