In an impressive ceremony held in the capital of the province in order to offer cars at affordable rates, Real Automobile Industries Limited launched their long-awaited 800cc hatchback, Prince Pearl.
The occasion was thanked by Chaudhry Governor of Punjab, Muhammad Sarwar, and the other prominent members of the dignitaries and auto industry. The car, which hit the market in six different colors from 1 February (today), would be available in 16 3S distributors in all of Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasion, the Punjab governor remarked, “It is heartening to see a local company taking the initiative to provide such a well-equipped and affordable automobile to the masses.”
Talking to this scribe, Regal Automobiles Operations Director Tayyab Naseer said,
“We have manufactured almost 400 to 500 units of Prince Pearl. Owing to the tough competition we face in the market, we are also striking agreements with the corporate sector to promote and sell our products. We want to break the monopoly of the already available and costly brands in Pakistan.”
He said the company was offering a complete range of light, commercial, passenger and SUV range with complete after-sale services and technical support to the customers. “The company has invested Rs1.5 billion in this project to create jobs and ensure industrial and economic stability in Pakistan.”
He informed that the company was providing EFI engine which produces 40HP and is equipped with modern features such as power windows, power steering, multimedia system and a warranty of three years or 60,000kms, whichever comes first.
