A 107-year-old man from Emiraty died in the Wadi Ghalilah district of Ras Al Khaimah about 13 hours after the death of his 90-year-old wife. The couple’s relatives said for over 65 years they were happily married.
“Both of them, though old and unwell, were looking after each other in love.” The added that the husband, identified as Ghazi Ali, was staying with his wife in Wadi Ghalilah, 40km to the north of Ras Al Khaimah city.
The grandson Mohamad Al Shehi said his grandfather was suffering from geriatric diseases, but after the death of his wife, he could not handle the pain and passed away the same day around 4am.
