Zain and Abdullah, two students from the NUST Software Engineering and Junior Year in Computer Science, have created a Photo Editor focused on AI that enhances and adapts your selfies with mobile Artificial Intelligence.
In their second year of studies both students began applying and launched their own start-up, which had first been incubated by the Nust (TIC) Technological Incubation Centre.
The application is called Blur, which with a single touch can blur the background of your photos offering a touch-up of DSLR type. It has automatic human detection combined with several beauty filters to help you edit your photos without problems. The application is currently available and trends in Google Play Store with more than 100k downloads obtained in a very short production time
The start behind the application, Vyro.ai aims to use the capabilities of its handheld devices to maximize the characteristics of the applications they develop while avoiding the use of a network, therefore, the minimum and maximum cost efficiency.
The startup has invested a lot of time and resources in developing its presets and adjustments that allow users to improve their digital photos. The startup is located in Pakistan’s first National Science and Technology Park (NSTP) and they have a small team of passionate and dedicated people.
Speaking about the goal of its beginning, Zain said:
“Vyro.ai It is a mobile technology startup specializing in products related to deep learning. Our goal is to advance mobile photography to the next level using neural networks, deep learning and computer vision techniques. Our goal is to create new ways for people to express their emotions through the camera. ”
In addition, its startup has achieved global success by being selected in incubators and accelerators around the world, including Block 71 Incubation Center ,Singapore, Draper University, Hero Program in Silicon Valley. As the startup focuses primarily on AI-related products, they are active members of several technology programs such as Nvidia AI Inception, AWS ActivateY IBM Business Partner World.
