Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday instructed that a National Action Plan to combat adulture in edible products be drawn up and prices of different edible commodities be developed within a week.
The Prime Minister asked the Chief Secretaries to draw up within one week a National Action Plan and a plan to test this result, and to create a full agenda for the next session.
He was told that in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces and Islamabad the prices of essential food products and other items were all stable, while prices of certain items decreased. However, it was reported to the Prime Minister that prices of various goods were rising in the province of Sindh.
