HBL New York Branch Will Be Close by March 31

Habib Bank Limited (HBL) said that, by 31 March 2020, in cooperation with the State banking regulators in New York it would conclude its closure of its New York branch.

The bank reported that, with this closure, it would no longer operate a bank branch in the United States, according to information shared with the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).

The bank expressed thanks for its continuous cooperation and help through the process of closing and closing the New York Office, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the State Department of Financial Services, and the New York Federal Reserve Bank.

HBL remains committed to engaging in progressive banking practices while ensuring compliance with all international and local laws and regulations across its network, the bank said.
