World’s First and Largest Camel Hospital to be Build in Saudi Arabia

According to the Arab website, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Agriculture and Environment has completed plans to build the world’s largest hospital for camels. The hospital will be built in Al-Qasim Govt. Of Saudi Arabia and will cost 100 million rials and will also be supported by the public sector for its establishment.

The hospital, called Salam Hospital for Camel Veterinary, will not only treat the diseases caused by camels, but will also nourish and breed different types of camels around the world.

The establishment of a new veterinary hospital will help to increase the number of camels in the country and increase their numbers, says Secretary of Animal Affairs of Saudi Arabia, Dr Hamd al-Batashan. In addition, the Saudi government will encourage local and foreign investors to raise camels in the country.
