Five-Time and Friday Prayers Banned in Mosques Across Sindh Till April 5

The new coronavirus, which started Wuhan, central China, at the end of December last year, has now spread to all continents except Antarctica. COVID-19 has killed thousands of people and infected almost half a million others worldwide, due to a mysterious pathogen.

Although the Chinese government’s deadly infestation was in Wuhan, the virus is now spreading elsewhere, especially in Europe and the USA, naming Europe as the new epicenter of the viral disease by the World Health Organization.

In an unprecedented move, the Sindh government has imposed a ban on five-time congregation prayers, including Friday prayer, effective from tomorrow (March 27) till April 5 in a bid to contain the spread of novel coronavirus.
