Pakistan’s Covid-19 tally has crossed 2,000; Deaths Reached 26

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Pakistan rose to 2,037 early Wednesday after new infections were confirmed in the country.

Total confirmed cases: 2,040

  • Punjab: 708
  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 253
  • Balochistan: 158
  • Islamabad Capital Territory: 58
  • Gilgit-Baltistan: 178
  • AJK: 6

Deaths: 26

  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 6
  • Sindh: 8
  • Balochistan: 1
  • Gilgit-Baltistan: 2
  • Punjab: 9

In Lahore, expo center converted into 1000 field hospital which will be used as triage for those suspected person who have symptoms of virus but bot sure about Coronavirus.

In Faisalabad, the pilgrims from Iran who are staying for quarantine in paras campus Faisalabad, five pilgrims have positive Coronavirus report out of 158 persons.
