Coronavirus Claims 32 Deaths in Pakistan

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Pakistan rose to 2,291 on Thursday after new infections were confirmed in the country.

The province-wise break up of the total number of cases as of 12:13pm, April 2, is as follows:

Total confirmed cases: 2,291

  • Sindh: 743
  • Punjab: 845
  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 276
  • Balochistan: 169
  • Islamabad Capital Territory: 62
  • Gilgit-Baltistan: 187
  • AJK: 9

Deaths: 32

  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 8
  • Sindh: 10
  • Balochistan: 1
  • Gilgit-Baltistan: 2
  • Punjab: 11

According to Usman Buzdar Punjab is highly effected province of Pakistan till now total number of patients in Punjab is 845.

Army Chief Gen Qamar Bajwa on Wednesday called for national unity in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic that has affected over 2,200 and killed 31 so far in Pakistan.
