Kuwait Reports First Death From COVID-19 Today

The first death of COVID-19 disease in the country was declared by Kuwait on Saturday. Kuwait also said that it has reported 62 new cases of the disease, which amount to a total of 479 in the region.

The remediation of 11 cases with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), which increased total recapturing of the country to 93 cases, was announced Saturday by Kuwait’s health minister Sheik Dr. Basel Al Sabah according to the Kuna.

The minister said lab tests and analyses had shown the recovery of the patients, including three females, and that they would be admitted to a rehabilitation ward before being discharged from hospital.

Kuwait Municipality shut down 462 entities nationwide in March for violating health authorities’ preventive measures designed to curb the spread of coronavirus, the Minister of State for Municipal Affairs Waleed Al Jassem said.
