The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Pakistan rose to 2,689 on Saturday after new infections were confirmed in the country.
The province-wise break up of the total number of cases as of 10:12am, April 4, is as follows:

68 have tested positive. 19 in Bara Kahu. 7 in Shahzad Town. 7 in one house in I-10. 7 came from abroad. 14 females. Most affected age group 30-40 yrs (18 positive). No deaths Alhamdolillah.
More than 1 million declared cases have been registered in 200 countries and territories since the epidemic first emerged in China in December. Of these cases, at least 228,000 are now considered recovered.
In a press statement Fawad Hussain explained that today locally made ventilators will be set to use in Lahore Jinaah Hospital, Indus hospital Karachi and CMH Rawalpindi.
Two most successful designed are selected in this purpose by Pakistan engineering council. it will remarked prominent steep in medical engineering in Pakistan.
