Earlier today, Imran Khan opened the website of the PM’s COVID-19 Relief Fund, encouraging Pakistanis abroad to generously donate to the cause.
The collection of funds will be used to fight against the new coronavirus, which has led to more than 5,400 cases reporting nearly 100 deaths in the country. Official websites encourage Pakistanis living abroad to donate.
Former England cricketer, Kevin Pietersen, posted a video message for overseas Pakistanis, requesting them to play their part in overcoming the health crisis in their homeland.
I’m trying to assist in what’s a bit of a dire situation in Pakistan. We all know that Pakistanis all over the world contributing back to Pakistan. It creates a lot of revenue and helps a lot of people that desperately need their help.
“This is just a call out to all Pakistanis living abroad that they please support the Prime Minister’s relief fund”, he added.
