Facebook Pakistan was using the AI in the identification and elimination of misleading news about the COVID19 in Pakistan.
In this context, the online information session with a group of journalists was conducted by Sarim Aziz, a Facebook official of Pakistan.
Organisers said they had removed a large number of misleading information pages from Facebook and had tried to approve only correct information and that information which had no negative impact on others.
Similar steps were also taken to personalize Whatsapp application, where number of forwarding messages was contracted to one in case original message was forwarded for more than four times.
They said that Facebook even disallowed advertises that could lead to sale of non-genuine products related to safeguarding from COVID-19 that include sanitizers and masks.
