The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Pakistan rose to 32,081 on Tuesday after new infections were confirmed in the country.

Officials have recorded more than 4.13 million cases and more than 285,000 deaths since the virus emerged in China in December.
Islamabad, Senate meets today to discuss coronavirus pandemic
The Senate will meet at 11am today to discuss and debate the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Last week, Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjarani had announced the session upon the opposition’s requisition.
Sanjrani had said that less staff should be present on the day of the session.
The chairman had added said that adequate measures have been taken for the meeting of the lawmakers and that measures based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) had been put in place inside the Senate hall.
Islamabad reports 37 new cases
Confirmed cases in the country rose to 32,081 after new cases were reported in the federal capital.
According to the national dashboard, 37 new cases were recorded in Islamabad, taking the city’s tally of confirmed cases to 716.
Islamabad has also reported six deaths from the virus.
