In collaboration with the Punjab Housing Department and Local Government Department, the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) have initiated eKhidmat Markaz services in a provincewide manufacturing facility. In a tweet to PITB, Punjab govt undertakes to eliminate all bottlenecks to ensure that building plan approvals have been processed efficiently, completion certificates given, land use change and privately owned housing schemes have been approved.

“All services to be delivered in guaranteed timelines using state-of-the-art tech. In this regard, first online training for master trainers from multiple depts conducted successfully,” PITB said.
It is pertinent to note that eKhidmat centres already providing services to the citizens all over the Punjab and now the latest development will provide facilitate construction industry.
Prime Minister Imran Khan earlier announced the stimulus package for the construction sector to provide relief to the industry amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
However, right now the eKhidmat centres are closed amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
From eKhidmat centers following services can be availed including Warehouses Construction Permit (Lahore), Birth Certificate, Character Certificate, Death Certificate, Marriage Certificate,Divorce Certificate, Domicile Certificate, Token Tax, CNIC, Child Registration Certificate, Family Registration Certificate,Juvenile Card, National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis, Issuance of Fard, Issuance of Fard (Bail Purposes), Issuance of Fard (NEC Purposes), Federal Arms License (FAL), Motor Vehicle Registration, Vehicle Transfer Ownership, Route Permit, Learners Driving License, Nadra e-Sahulat, Traffic Fine Collection.
