PEMRA has issued the press release regarding issuance of show cause notices to the several TV channels on due to the irresponsible coverage of terrorist attack at Pakistan Stock Exchange, Karachi.
PEMRA issues show cause notices to several news channels for irresponsible coverage of unfortunate incidence occurred at Pakistan Stock Exchange, Karachi. Channels were showing footages of firing, dead bodies and ammunition / weapons on the.screens. Channels have been asked to respond within 7 days, failing which legal action under PEMRA laws shall be initiated.
