Islamabad, Pakistan — Authorities to lift restrictions from sub-sectors of I-8 and I-10
Islamabad authorities will lift restrictions from sub-sectors of I-8 and I-10 after the completion of a 14-day quarantine period, the deputy commissioner said.
“From 771 cases per day we have brought down the positive cases to 137 today,” he said, adding that the smart lockdown policy had shown “massive results”.

K-P health minister says to call govt helpline for free Covid-19 testing
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Health Minister Taimur Jhagra said to call the provincial government’s helpline 1700 for free Covid-19 testing.
The minister said medical staff will arrive at your house for testing.

Dr Zafar Mirza says Covid-19 cases are decreasing
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on National Health Services Dr Zafar Mirza said the number of Covid-19 cases in the country are decreasing.
He said the monsoon season would further facilitiate the reduction in the number of cases.
The special assistant said smart lockdown is the only solution to control the spread the contagion and improve the national ecnoomy.
He said 128 laboratories have been established across the country, as he urged people to visit hospitals for Covid-19 testing.
The special assistant assured that the government is taking strict action against medical stores and private laboratories for overcharging people.
