Important News About the Ban on Double Riding on Bikes in Pakistan

The Punjab Home Department has said that double riding will be banned in Punjab from 1st to 10th Muharram while mobile service will be closed on the procession routes on 10th and 9th Muharram.

According to details, a meeting of the Punjab Cabinet Committee on Law and Order was held regarding Muharram security plan in which the law and order situation of the province was reviewed in detail on Muharram.

A briefing was given by the Punjab Home Department to the Cabinet Committee on Law and Order, in which it was said that the services of 24 companies of Pakistan Army have been sought from 1st to 10th Muharram, while the services of 34 companies of Rangers have also been sought for Muharram.

The Punjab Home Department said that a letter has been written to the Federal Ministry of Home Affairs in this regard. Double riding will be banned in Punjab from 1st to 10th Muharram while mobile service will be closed on procession routes on 10th and 9th Muharram.
