PIA cuts Fares on Domestic, Inbound Flights for Senior Citizens

The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced a 10pc discount on domestic travel for senior citizens besides a reduction in fares on domestic and inbound flights.

The national flag carrier has reduced the fare by up to 20pc on domestic flights from Faisalabad to Karachi; one-way fare for these flights is Rs7,986. The airline will charge Rs10,191 per ticket for flights from Sukkur to Islamabad.

PIA has also announced a 15pc reduction of fares on inbound flights from Toronto to Pakistan.

The discount on tickets is applicable till Sept 15, while travelling dates are from Sept 7 to Nov 14.

Besides this, passengers traveling to Peshawar or Quetta along with reduced rates can also enjoy special introductory 20 kg baggage allowance. Also, flights between Karachi and Peshawar will cost PKR 8,973 and Karachi and Quetta- Islamabad and Quetta- Lahore and Quetta will cost PKR 8,448.
