Bloomingdale’s Opens Online Store for Deliveries in UAE, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait

Bloomingdale’s Middle East has launched its e-commerce platform and will offer deliveries in three countries within the region: UAE, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

In the UAE, Bloomingdale’s will give customers the option for same-day delivery, while customers in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia can avail of express shipping services.

The American luxury department chain launched in region with its first brick-and-mortar store at The Dubai Mall in 2010.

Subsequently, it opened at a second location at 360 Mall in Kuwait.

Alongside the launch of the new online portal, Bloomingdale’s has also introduced an iOS app for the region. Those using the new online platform to shop from the UAE and Kuwait, can opt for the two-hour click and collect facility from the brick-and-mortar stores for orders placed online.

It will also facilitate free exchanges and refunds across all three markets, either in store or via the automated process on the website itself.

Bloomingdale’s says that it is now able to offer a “dedicated omni-channel department store” experience while the website “replicates the store’s multi-category shopping experience.”

The entire range of womenswear, menswear, kidswear, beauty, fine jewelry and home essentials will be available on the platform.

Its womenswear brands include labels such as Saint Laurent, Chloé, Alexander McQueen, Bottega Veneta, Gucci, Balenciaga, Valentino, and Oscar de la Renta.

Its menswear brands meanwhile include the likes of Off-White, Neil Barrett, Slowear, Eleventy and Stone Island.
