Those who live in Islamabad can visit the official IESCO website and hover over the ‘Customer Services’ tab on the top navigation panel. Once the drop-down menu pops open, click on ‘Bill View/Print Duplicate Bill’ to access the web billing page.

You will have to enter your 14 digit reference number without any spaces in the empty field. Next, click the ‘Submit’ button to view and print your electricity bill. This reference number can be found on any of your previous paper bills.

The residents of Lahore can check their electricity bills online by visiting the official LESCO website and clicking on the ‘Customer Bill’ button in the navigation panel. You will then be redirected to a webpage where you can enter either your reference number or customer ID to view and download the bill.

Please note that both reference number and customer ID are present on the LESCO paper bills. 

How to Check Your K-Electricity Bill Online?

If you live in Karachi, visit the official K-Electric website and hover over the ‘Customer Services’ tab on the left-hand navigation panel. Next, select ‘Duplicate Bill’ from the drop-down menu.

Here is what you’ll need to check your K-Electric bill online:

  • Account number
  • Consumer number
  • Valid email address
  • Mobile number

Once you’ve added all the required details, click on ‘View Bill’ to generate an online copy. You can also download and print a PDF copy of your bill. Moreover, you can opt for paperless billing through the Customer Services tab and play your part in saving the planet.

Internet and Mobile Banking

Almost all leading commercial banks, including Standard Chartered Bank, HBL and UBL, allow their customers to pay electricity bills online through their Internet and Mobile banking services. All you need to do is visit the website of your local distribution company to figure out which banks and services you can use to pay your bills from the comfort of your home. 

You can also download the mobile application of the bank where you hold an account and use your reference number and customer ID to make the payment.

EASY PAISA 

Easy Paisa is one of the most popular online payment services in Pakistan. It allows customers to pay all sorts of bills at their fingertips.

In order to pay electricity bills online through Easy Paisa, you will have to download its app and create an account. Once you have signed up, you’ll have to log-in using a 5-digit pin, tap on ‘Bill Payment’ and select ‘Electricity’ from the Bill Type menu. You can then select your electric distribution company from the list and enter your consumer number to generate your bill details. 

Make sure to confirm the name, due date and amount appearing on your mobile phone before proceeding to pay. Tap ‘Pay Now’ to complete the transaction.

JAZZCASH

JazzCash is another online payment and e-wallet service that offers a hassle-free bill payment option to its customers. 

There are two ways you can pay electricity bills online through JazzCash: through the app or JazzCash code.

If you aren’t a Mobilink user, you should consider downloading the JazzCash app. The process of paying your bill through this app is quite similar to that of Easy Paisa. All you need to do is sign-up, create an MPIN, select the type of bill and utility company, add consumer or reference number, confirm all your details and tap on the screen to complete the transaction. 

On the other hand, Mobilink customers can dial *786# from their registered numbers and select ‘Pay Bills’. Next, select the type of bill and electric distribution company. Enter the consumer or reference number on your bill to generate payment details. Add your MPIN to confirm the transaction and pay your bill online.

It is important to mention that while JazzCash Mobile Account allows you to make the first three online payments of the month completely free of cost. For the rest, you will have to pay PKR 20 per bill. Moreover, if your electricity bill is greater than PKR 50,000, you won’t be able to pay it through the mobile account.
