Punjab University has decided to lessen the fee of PU Students. Due to the pandemic situation of COVID-19, students are unable to submit full fees.
Therefore, they ordered to reduce the pay of students. In March 2020, all educational institutes have closed, and they start conducting online lectures. However, all educational institutes will remain closed until August 2020.
Now as COVID-19 is under control, therefore they start taking admission for the new academic session 2020-21. Many students can’t afford the fee because his father’s job was lost during the Coronavirus. They reduce 50% of the tuition fee. Those who already submitted the full fee their extra 50% fee will be adjusted in the next semester.
The Punjab University decided to half the fee of students in this session. He stated that; We would not charge any fee from students under some fee heads during COVID 19. Dr Niaz Ahmad has said that PU would continue its pro-student policies and will not charge any medical, transport, library, sports and hostel fee except tuition fee during the period of online classes.
