The sale of ZU cards, which are mandatory for Peshawar BRT buses, has been commenced for citizens. The authorities urged people to get and recharge their ZU cards from any station of BRT Peshawar. BRT management urged passengers to follow COVID-19 SOPs.
Spokesperson Transportation Peshawar said the bus company experts tested multiple buses of BRT and most of the buses were brought to the route for technical and load testing.
“Restoring service soon is the top priority of the organization while relevant authorities including Chinese experts are also present in buses,” the Spokesperson said.
“Comprehensive and detailed inspection of all buses is going on and the service will be restored after the amendment and investigation by the bus company experts,” he further said.
BRT Peshawar has 31 stations and seven feeder routes stretching 62km with 146 stops to facilitate thousands of passengers every day, along the main BRT corridor that is some 27km long.
