Google Introduces CS First Programme for Pakistani Schools

Federal Minister for IT Syed Aminul Haq has launched an important program in collaboration with Google. Under this program called CS First, computer technology will be taught at school level.

The CS CS program has been launched in partnership with the Ministry of IT, Telecom Foundation, Virtual University and Tech Valley. Initially, the program has been launched in 3 schools of the Telecom Foundation.

Federal Minister Syed Aminul Haq said that this program will be extended to all schools soon, the purpose of the program is to make children aware of computer programs from the very beginning.

He said that under the Digital Pakistan Vision, this program would prove to be an excellent platform for Pakistani children. Such programs need time to meet the challenges of the digital world.

The Federal Minister said that we want such programs to be extended to the backward and remote areas.

The IT Minister also said that the CS First program would be able to impart technology education to the children through sports and it was important to lay the foundation of technology and skills from the very beginning for a better future.
