School Closure Decision Postpone Till 23 November

Punjab Education Minister Murad Rass said that no decision has been taken so far regarding immediate closure of schools across the province.

According to details, in his statement, the Punjab Education Minister clarified that no decision has been taken yet regarding the closure of schools. The Inter-Provincial Education Ministers Conference will be reconvened on November 23 in which further consideration will be given.

Murad Ross further said that the complete situation regarding coronavirus has been reviewed in detail and possible decisions are being considered keeping in view the coronavirus situation.

On the other hand, a meeting of the Inter-Provincial Education Ministers’ Conference chaired by Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood proposed winter holidays in educational institutions from November to January in view of the increase in corona cases.

An inter-provincial meeting of education ministers is underway in the NCOC under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood due to coronary cases.

No final decision and announcement regarding educational institutions has been made so far during the meeting.
