Samsung’s Galaxy S21 Series Might be Cheaper than the Galaxy S20 Series

Samsung is gearing up to launch the Samsung Galaxy S21 series soon and leaks and speculations have been all over social media. The pricing for the Galaxy S21 series has been tipped on a South Korean blog called Naver and if those numbers are anything to go by, the Galaxy S21 series is going to be cheaper than the older Galaxy S20 series.

Besides this bit, alleged CAD renders of the Samsung Galaxy S21+ has also been leaked. We know so far that the Samsung Galaxy S21+ is probably coming with a 6.8-inch display and a 120Hz refresh rate and a minimal camera bump. Ad

As per the CAD renders shared by CoverPigtou in collaboration with David from @xleaks, the Galaxy S21+ measures 161.55×75.6×7.86mm. These dimensions make it larger than the rumoured size on the Galaxy S21 and just a little larger than the older Samsung Galaxy S20+ which measures 161.90×73.70×7.80mm.

The camera design on the Samsung Galaxy S21 series appears to be different as compared to the previous flagships. The renders indicate that Samsung has managed to minimise the camera bump while still maintaining three camera sensors. This time around, the flash appears to be placed outside the camera module. The renders also show a USB Type-C port and a speaker grill on the bottom.

Older leaks have indicated that the Samsung Galaxy S21+ could come with a 120Hz refresh rate, 5G support, Wi-Fi 6, and a 4,800mAh battery with 25W fast-charging support. The triple rear camera on the phone is expected to feature a 12-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, and a 64-megapixel telephoto shooter.

Samsung has not shared any information on the upcoming flagship smartphone series yet, but the new phones are expected to debut earlier than usual.
