PSF has announce science talent farming scheme (STFS) latest Pakistan science foundation scholarship 2020 for Matric students is approved by the Government of Pakistan.
Good news for the student of Matric class because the Government of Pakistan has announced the scholarship of Rs.10,000/- per month which will be awarded to deserving and intelligent students of matric class. The scholarship will be given through Pakistan Science Foundation.
The Pakistan Science Foundation commonly known as PSF is federal government institutions was established to promote and fund the students getting science education across the country. It is being supervised by the Ministry of Science & Technology of Government of Pakistan. It is also operated and administrated by Pakistan Museum of National History.
Pakistan Science Foundation, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Science and Technology invites applications for selection of 5th batch of 300 young students under the Science Talent Farming Scheme (STFS).
The talented students passionate towards Science education who wish to adopt scientific career will be selected and trained/groomed to become future eminent scientists.
The interested candidates in the scholarship are strongly recommended to apply online at National Testing System (NTS).
A test consisting on objective type will be conducted by the NTS to select the intelligence and deserving candidates.
Application forms can be downloaded from the official website of NTS. Downloaded form along with requisite documents should be submitted to NTS Headquarter, the Islamabad through courier.
This scholarship is available for every student of matric class. However, the test will be taken conducted by NTS. Only intelligent candidates will be selected after test. The eligibility criteria are given as under:-

Thousands of students are getting higher education due to scholarship is being given by the PSF for Matric Students.
Terms and conditions of scholarships are mentioned on the official website of PSF. The last date for submission of admissions form has been declared as 30th July 2018.
The admission form can be downloaded from the official website of the National Testing System (NTS). The filled scholarship should be submitted to the office of National Testing System located at Plot # 96, Street # 4, H-8/1, Islamabad.
PSF Pakistan Science Foundation Scholarship 2020 Eligibility Criteria
- Students who have passed 10th class examinations SSC/Matric in 2019 only from pure government sector schools, are eligible to apply
- Students scoring minimum 60% overall marks and 70% marks in four (4) science subjects viz, Biology / Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics
- Attested copies of Matric/SSC result card, B-Form and domicile certificate of student. However, If student domicile is not available, father’s domicile is acceptable for test
- Private, semi government or any other type of schools are not eligible as per approved PC-I of STFS.
Selection Criteria
- Initial screening/short listing will be done on the basis of score as per eligibility criteria
- Science Aptitude Test (written test)
- Paper based I.Q test
- Interview / presentation on innovative ideas
- Seats will be allocated as per federal Government quota system
- 30 seats are reserved for toppers of the BISEs exams, for which nominations will be called separately from relevant Boards
Salient Features for Selected Students
- Monthly scholarship @Rs.10,000 per month for two years (F.Sc.)
- Study visit to S&T organizations Universities and Labs
- Undertaking research projects from first year under the mentorship of a university Professors
Documents and other Requirements
- Attested copies of result card and Detailed Marks Sheet of SSC/Matric, and CNIC or B-Form
- Attested copy of Domicile is mandatory. However, father’s domicile is acceptable only to appear in written test
- Two recent color photographs (passport size)
- Original bank deposit Slip of test fee paid
- Application forms with incomplete, wrong/false Information will be rejected

Download STFS Application Form and Fee Deposit Slip amounting to Rs.147 from the website (www.cts.org.pk) of testing agency “Candidate Testing Service (CTS)” approved by Pakistan Science Foundation
Duly filled and completed application form alongwith Bank deposit slip (Original) should be sent through courier or registered post to “CTS Office No.6, 2nd floor. United Plaza. 96-E. A.K. Fazal-e-Haq Road, Blue Area, Islamabad by 23 Oct, 2020.
Application received after the due date will not be entertained. No TA/DA is admissible for the test and Interview.
