South African legend, Dale Steyn, has arrived in Pakistan to join the Quetta Gladiators squad for the sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Steyn excused himself from the first two matches of the competition due to personal reasons. He will be available for selection in Quetta’s third match of the tournament, against Peshawar Zalmi, on Friday, 26 February.
Quetta Gladiators announced the arrival of Steyn across their social media channels.

Steyn may not be the bowler he used to be a few years ago, but he is still a marquee signing for PSL. He will be the spearhead of a young fast bowling unit of Quetta Gladiators, and Quetta’s management will be looking to Steyn to share extensive knowledge of the game with the young pace attack of Naseem Shah, Mohammad Hasnain, and Usman Shinwari.
Quetta will be in action against Lahore Qalandars on Monday, 22 February, in their second match of the competition.
