A player from Islamabad United’s squad has tested positive for coronavirus ahead of the clash with Quetta Gladiators, sources said Monday.
According to sources, the match, scheduled to begin at 7pm, has been delayed by an hour — and will start at 8pm. Following the development, both teams’ players are being tested for the virus.
A night before PSL kicked off, a player had tested positive for the coronavirus, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had confirmed late Friday night, adding that he had earlier showed symptoms of COVID-19 and stayed in isolation.
This is a developing story and will be updated as more information is available.
