The good news for passengers going to Canada is that Pakistan International Airlines PIA has been allowed to operate direct flights.
According to the details, the PIA has received instructions from the Canadian authorities to resume direct flights and from June 22, PIA will be able to take direct passengers to Canada.
Canadian authorities express satisfaction with SOP formulated by PIA Chief Executive Air Marshal Arshad Malik.
In the first phase, PIA will start three weekly flights from Sunday and in the second phase, the operation from Pakistan to Canada will be fully resumed.
According to the PIA spokesperson, the flights will depart from Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. Booking has been opened on the flights and people can easily get seats.
It should be noted that the flights were restricted to cargo only due to the restrictions imposed by COVID-19.
