CNG Prices Likely to Rise by Up to Rs 30: Source

In view of the possible increase in the price of liquefied natural gas (LNG), the CNG Association has convened an important meeting in which the next course of action will be decided.

According to ARY News, the increase in LNG PGST is expected to increase the price of CNG by Rs 18 to 30, at which CNG station owners convened an important meeting.

A meeting of the Central Working Committee of the All Pakistan CNG Association was convened in Karachi to discuss new pricing and whether or not to run the station.

Ghias Paracha, leader of the traders’ association, said, “In view of the possible increase in CNG prices, we have approached the federal government to resolve the issue.”

According to sources, officials of the All Pakistan CNG Association agreed that if GST was imposed on LNG, they would close the stations.
