Finally, Gandhara Nissan Ltd. has announced the launch date of the Chery Tiggo Series SUVs in Pakistan. According to reports, the company plans to unveil its vehicles on December 14th, 2021. The ceremony will take place in Karachi, where the company will also give attendees a demonstration of the car.
This is definitely good news for crossover SUV fans, as it will increase competition in this segment. Pakistan has received a number of SUVs in recent years, and they now dominate the market.
Previously, Gandhara Nissan imported CBU Tiggo 8 and Tiggo 4 units for testing on local roads. As a result, we believe the company will reveal these two vehicles. Furthermore, the vehicles are expected to hit the market in the first quarter of 2022. This is an unveiling event, so we’re not sure if the company will begin booking on the same date or not.
Chery Tiggo 8
Tiggo 8 is a seven-seater small to medium crossover SUV that competes with the Kia Sorento, Hyundai Santa Fe, Toyota Fortuner, MG RX8, and other midsize SUVs. The Tiggo 8 is available in two engine structures on the international market.
For the first one, a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with 156 hp and 230 Nm of torque. The other is a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with 197 horsepower and 290 Newton-meters of torque.
Other prominent features include a powered sunroof, powered tailgate, Electrically adjustable seats, power windows, and smartwatch key. car is equipped with cruise control, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, front and rear parking sensors, six airbags, and a camera with a 360-degree view. car tire has Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) along with stability control.
Chery Tiggo 4
Tiggo 4 is a smaller 5-seater midsize crossover with two engine options: a 1.5L turbo and a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine with a CVT transmission. This one, too, has a slew of powerful features, including; power window and steering, electric parking brake, keyless entry, keyless engine start, and brake assist.
Furthermore, cars hold functions like an anti-lock braking system, electronic stability program, and hill start assists as well.
Price
However, it is expected that the Tiggo 8 will be priced between Rs. 6.5 million and Rs. 7.8 million when it is released in Pakistan. Given the vehicle’s features and practicality, it is likely to be a good competitor in the Pakistani market.
