Petrol Price Expected to Reduce by Rs11 Per Liter from Dec 16

The government may reduce the price of petrol by Rs11 per liter starting December 16, according to sources who spoke to Geo News on Tuesday.

According to industry sources, the price of diesel is expected to fall by Rs9 per liter, and the government will finalize petroleum product prices after either raising or lowering tax rates.

Crude oil prices have recently fallen around the world.
The new petroleum product prices will go into effect on December 16.

On November 30, the government announced that the prices of petroleum products would continue till December 1-15, in accordance with Prime Minister Imran Khan’s decision.

“The price of petrol will remain stuck at Rs145.82 per liter, on the other hand, the price of diesel will remain unchanged at Rs142.62 per liter,” according to the announcement.

“Similarly, the price of kerosene oil will be Rs114.07 and light diesel will be at Rs116.53.
