According to a notification issued by the Finance Division, the new price of petrol will be Rs140.82 per liter, down from Rs145.82 per liter previously.
The new price of HSD, which is primarily used in agriculture and transportation, will be Rs137.62 per liter, down from Rs142.62 per liter.

Kerosene will be sold at Rs109.53 per liter, down from Rs116.53, while light diesel oil will be sold at Rs107.06 per liter, down from Rs114.07 per liter.
The rates have been reduced in response to fluctuations in the international market for petroleum products.
The new prices will go into effect on December 16, according to the notification.
It is important to note that the government kept the petroleum levy (PL) and sales tax (ST) per liter unchanged at 13.62 and 4.77 percent on MS petrol, respectively.
On November 5, the government raised the price of petrol in Pakistan by Rs8.03 per liter.
