NCOC Announces Winter Vacation Notification 2021-22

The National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has announced to grant a winter break to Pakistani educational institutions from January 3, 2022.

A meeting of NCOC was held on Friday under the chairmanship of the Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar in which Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood, Dr. Faisal Sultan, and others participated.

It was decided at the meeting that winter vacations in educational institutions would be from January 3, with the exception of areas where fog and weather conditions are high.

Earlier, while talking to Urdu News, Mohi-ud-Din Wani, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Education, said that the proposal to shift winter vacation in educational institutions to January has come up in order to complete the ongoing corona vaccination campaign in schools in a timely manner.

The corona vaccine is currently being administered to children between the ages of 12 and 18 in educational institutions. Initially, people of this age group are being vaccinated against Pfizer in the United States.
