Following the official approval of the government, the Pakistan Super League 2022 will not be a closed-door event. Spectators will have access to the entire seating capacity of the stadium.
According to commitments made by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), fully vaccinated people will be allowed to watch the game in the stadium, and vaccination of those over the age of 12 will be required to enter the stadium.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will create a system for issuing tickets to vaccinated individuals.
The letter to the federal and provincial governments stated that the PCB would be responsible for security arrangements for cricket matches as well as the implementation of SOPs at the cricket ground and that spectators at the cricket stadium would be required to wear masks and maintain social distance.
It is worth noting that the seventh edition of the PSL will begin on January 27, with the drafting process wrapping up this month. Umar Akmal has returned to the league, but Chris Gayle, Ben Dunk, Ahmed Shehzad, and Mohammad Irfan will not compete in PSL-7.
The 7th edition of the Pakistan Super League was drafted in a colorful ceremony at the National High-Performance Center in Lahore. Chairman PCB Rameez Raja and others took part, and franchise owners chose 18 players.
