According to details, Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid, along with senior officials from the provincial health department, launched the application on Sunday in Lahore.
Dr. Yasmin, speaking at the event, stated that the application has been linked with the National Database Regulatory Authority (NADRA) because citizens’ records with the NADRA are required to access healthcare services at all empaneled hospitals in the province.
Residents of Punjab can receive free treatment worth up to Rs. 1 million at the province’s 133 primary, secondary, and tertiary public hospitals and 101 private hospitals.
She further said that under the Sehat Sahulat Program, each family will be issued a health card in the name of the family’s owners, who will be responsible for registering with the authorities through the application.
In addition, at the Tehsil level, the provincial government has established devoted help desks in the offices of Assistant Commissioners. They can also call the helpline at 0800-09009 for more information on the program’s free healthcare system.
